Dianna Rose Farmstead

Free during the week, and only $2.00 Friday through Sunday, this is a great place to take young kids, even up to around early teens.

We went last weekend with a couple of the grandkids and they loved it. It’s not so big that you are worn out completely by the end of the visit, but not so small that it doesn’t seem worth the trip. Fully handicap accessible, as far as I can tell. My wife had minimal trouble in her power chair.

Great site for school or church group outings. Birthday packages are available. Pony rides, mining camp, Kanza indian village, cows, chickens, goats and more for the kids to see. You can even take the kids fishing for perch! Only a couple more bucks to let the kids mine for gems, ride the ponies or feed the goats, so go for it!

Location: South Overland Park, KS. 138th & Switzer. Easy to see from Switzer, but you have to wind through the soccer complex just a bit to get to the parking area. See their website here: Link to Deana Rose Farmstead
