Paintball
According to my son, there is no shortage of places to play paintball in the KC area. From Lawrence, KS to Jaeger’s in the caves below World’s of Fun, you can always find a place to play.
Paintball? You mean where you run around and blast your friends? Oh, yeah.
In Lawrence, you can go to Drop Zone Paintball. They have a great staging field that is actually four fields in one. A two-story castle is a great place to be a sniper, and plenty if bunkers and towers, hills and trees. Paint, CO2 and air are available on site, but the pro shop is in town. Cost ranges from $15.00 per person for walk-on with your own equipment, or complete equipment rentals for $31.00. They also have tournaments, and groups are always welcome as well. Jaeger’s Paintball is located in the caves below World’s of Fun. Weather is never a problem here, as it is always a cool 56 degrees! Smaller surface fields are available, but the real fun is down under. Barrels, columns, and hideouts are plentiful. Good team play location, even for the people your meet by chance there.
